This recently renovated residence is set on over 500 acres and is perfect for couples or families wanting to experience a relaxing country retreat by the log fire or enjoy an activity packed getaway visiting some of the many local attractions. Whether you’re wanting a family hideaway, a relaxing couples retreat or an adventure filled holiday our family homestead offers the ideal location.
This beautiful country homestead includes a fully self-contained kitchen, dining room, three queen sized bedrooms, family room, lounge room and bathroom with both a bath and shower and a separate toilet.
Glen Robin Homestead offers full-sized appliances, two queen size bedrooms and a large combination room with a double bed and two king singles, as well as a few extra luxuries like the wood burning fire.
On your arrival you’ll find provisions including all linen, tea and coffee, and milk for your first day at Glen Robin. Our family homestead is setup to try and accommodate everyone – including the family dog!
Glen Robin Homestead has been in our family for over fifty years. It has been recently renovated to be used as a holiday house. There is a large fenced yard for children and pets to play in.
Pets are welcome and can stay indoors or outdoors. They can also be safely tied up or closed into a smaller yard while owners are away. Sorry, no cats are allowed.
There is nothing better than taking a walk through the property, enjoy the spectacular views and abundant wildlife, or sit out in the evening star gazing.
Stanthorpe is located just over two and a half hours from Brisbane and is full of things to see and do. With over 50 wineries on the Granite Belt, it's sure to please everyone from the avid enthusiast to those who just enjoy a nice drop. We're also just a short drive from Girraween National Park and Bald Rock.
Other activities you can enjoy during your visit include the Granite Belt Maze, Granite Belt Christmas Farm, Stanthorpe Cheese, Sutton’s Juice Factory, and pick your own strawberries.
With its cooler climate and high altitude, the Granite Belt is the perfect place to produce quality wines. Whatever your preference you are sure to find something you love at one of the many wineries in the area.
Located on the Queensland-New South Wales boarder, Girraween National Park is home to countless native flora and fauna and has spectacular massive granite formations and boulders which will take your breath away.
Visiting the Granite Belt Maze is a fun outing for the whole family. Challenge yourself and see if you can solve the maze, have a game of mini golf or a stroll through the gardens.
